Day 187: Fright Town

REady for Halloween Portland?  Send me the picture of your costume and I’ll feature the best Halloween costume in Portland on Halloween.  To get you in the spirit, how about trying a visit to FRIGHT TOWN – Portland’s premier Halloween block party.

Beneath the Memorial Coliseum lies a block full of shocking terror that is perfect for the Halloween season.  I’m not a fan of scary movies but can’t resist the thrill of the creative minds that come up with haunted houses, gruesome displays, and lots to keep your evening full of hair-raising fright.

Here you get three haunted houses for the price of one.  Baron Con Goolo’s Museum of Horrors is a complete mad house.  This is the longest running haunted house in Oregon.

Then, there’s Elshoff Manor, a walk-through haunted house where the staff is involved during your journey through the “legend” of Elshoff Manor.  Click here for the story.

Finally,  there’s Baron Von Goolo’s Museum of Horrors.  This museum is full of everything from scary clowns, to weird and freaky characters that will surely keep you on your toes.

All three dates are as follows:

October 1-2, 8-10, 14-17, 20-24, and 27-Halloween.

One admission ticket gets covers admission to all three houses for $20.  Click here for a coupon offer and receive a discount of $5.

Enjoy the Halloween season and remember, send me your costume pictures.
